Come join us again at the beginning of this brand-new year for a communal celebration of recovery!
We are again blessed with five speakers this year, to share with us the ways in which the Promises are manifesting in their own lives … and from the artists in our midsts, more song, dance & laughter!
We’re trusting HP to once more arrange attendees so we’ve sufficient PRG-experienced members present to allow for a few hours of low-stress, no-prep-required, Visions-oriented PRG’s (open to all members, but perhaps especially beneficial to those who haven’t had a PRG before).
We will also create special Visions boards this year that focus in on each different area of our daily lives, to help us better understand HP’s will for us, so we can then in turn better concentrate our efforts, and rocket forward into the fulfilling futures HP wants for us!
As always, we’ll have abundant fellowship, and food for mind & body … and hopefully heaps of fun, too!
Looking SO very forward to sharing this experience together!

In loving service,

A message from the Debtors Anonymous General Service Office:
New D.A. Manual for Service Available For Purchase
The new Debtors Anonymous Manual for Service, D.A.’s first comprehensive service guide for groups and trusted servants, is now available from the General Service Office.
The 142-page book is the result of several years of work by the General Service Board, and features detailed information about many aspects of the Fellowship’s Twelve-Step work. The DAMS costs $8.00 plus shipping. The literature order forms found on the D.A. web site have been modified to include it.
The new manual was published in late summer 2011, and was distributed to all delegates at the 25th annual World Service Conference in August. Extra copies quickly sold out, and a second print run is now available.
Chapters in the manual include Principles of Service, Service at the Group Level, Intergroup Service, Public Information, World Service, Appointed Committee Members, Literature, the General Service Board, General Service Office, D.A. newsletters, and Commentaries on the Twelve Concepts for D.A. World Service.
Among the numerous other topics covered are tips on how to start groups and Intergroups, manage treasuries, and conduct business meetings, the spiritual value of rotation of service, anonymity and social media, Regional Forums, D.A.’s intellectual property, and detailed information on where the Fellowship’s money comes from and how it is spent, with illustrations in color.
To order the manual, simply go to the world service web site www.debtorsanonymous.org and download a literature order form, or contact the GSO for more information.

A message from your Intergroup Service Representative: In my presentation about the World Service Conference, I spoke about the Issues and Concerns forms that DA members, groups and intergroups can submit to the General Service Board. At the conference, these are distributed amongst the various committees, who prepare responses and/or recommend actions.
For your interest, the Issues and Concerns from the conferences in 2005, 2006 and 2008 are available on the Service page of the DA website, and other years will be added soon.
