Debtors Anonymous is celebrating a major milestone in 2026 — 50 years of recovery — and the fellowship is inviting members and groups from around the world to help shape this historic event.
The first-ever D.A. Worldwide Virtual Convention will take place from May 30–31, 2026, and planning is already underway. This is an opportunity for Canadian members and groups to bring our perspectives, experiences, and recovery stories into a global space.
Session ideas must be submitted by February 8, 2026 to receive full consideration by the D.A. 50th Convention Steering Committee. Ideas submitted after this date may still be reviewed, but early submissions are strongly encouraged. Sessions can be more formal, such as workshops, or activities, such as a dance-party, vision board, talent show and more.

- Access: Open to all D.A. members worldwide
- Cost: Suggested donation but no one turned away for lack of funds
The convention will feature two tracks of programming with an estimated 20 or more online sessions, including workshops, activities, fellowship spaces, and keynote speakers.
What You’ll Need to Submit
When completing the form, be prepared to provide the following information:
- Group or member submitting the idea (include registration number if applicable)
- Email contact information for the submitter(s)
- Proposed session topic
- Format (check all that apply): speakers, member sharing, activity, slideshow, fellowship, breakout rooms
- Language the session will be conducted in
- Ideal time range for the session
- Description of the session idea
- Service experience of any members you envision developing or leading the session
- What D.A. members would gain from attending
- What newcomers would gain from attending
- Confirmation that the session adheres to the Twelve Traditions of Debtors Anonymous
