Reminder: Oakville Monthly Art Share Begins Nov 28

Oakville D.A. will be hosting an Art Share evening once a month to use the tool of “Telephone and the Internet” to break the winter isolation.  This will be on the fourth Saturday of each month beginning on November 28th, 2020 from 8:00-10:00 p.m. EST.

Vancouver DA Conference – Sat, Nov 14, 2020

The Vancouver Debtors Anonymous Conference, Recovery: Sharing Our Stories, is on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Eastern (11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Pacific).

It will occur on Zoom and advance registration is required at www.debtorsanonymousvancouver.com.

D.A. Retreat Dec 4-6, 2020 Cancelled

Announcement:

Due to the ongoing pandemic our D.A. Retreat scheduled for December 4-6, 2020 has been cancelled.

Please save the date for next year. We have Mount Mary Retreat Centre booked for November 5-7, 2021. More details will be released by the Retreat Subcommittee in the New Year.

No doubt there is disappointment in this news and the lingering effects of the pandemic. However, there are some virtual alternatives that may interest you occurring over the next ten weeks via Zoom.  

1. Founder’s Day hosted by Dallas D.A. Intergroup on Saturday, October 17th, 2020 from 2 to 4 p.m. CDT (3 to 5 p.m. EDT).  Click here for more details.

2. Abundant Safari hosted by Nairobi, Kenya D.A. on Saturday, November 7th, 2020 beginning at 7 a.m. EST. Click here for more details.

Please join us for an Art Share and Social Time every 4th Saturday from 8:00-10:00 pm. EST.

Each person will be give a ten-minute block of time and during this time they will first share their art for five minutes, followed by a five-minute
social time where other participants can express their appreciation, ask questions and reflect upon the art that was shared.

2019 DA Retreat UPDATE – Nov 22-24, 2019

The Annual Retreat hosted by the Toronto Area Intergroup of Debtors Anonymous is now accepting registrations.

THE RETREAT THIS YEAR WILL SELL OUT.  We are accepting waitlists or day registrations (no overnight accommodations) at this time.  Please use the link below.

Join us this year in Ancaster (Hamilton), Ontario as we explore the Twelve Promises of Debtors Anonymous along with opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, good food and a lovely serene environment.

We have been able to maintain the same cost as last year. For two-nights accommodation, five meals and retreat supplies the cost is $195.00 CAD (no tax). Our Scholarship Funds have been assigned this year and we are unable to provide further Scholarships for this year. There is also a day rate available with no overnight accommodations of $120.00 CAD.
